OnlyFans scandal: Data of adult content creators and their subscribers may have been leaked on the dark web

The reported OnlyFans data leak has unsettled the online adult work community

Posts claim the alleged bundle is connected to roughly 340 million user profiles, with an asking price of about 0.313 Bitcoin, said to be worth more than 20,000 euros.

What data could be included?

According to dark web chatter, a user operating under the name “Euphoric_Reply_5727” says they have assembled a large trove of data from OnlyFans accounts.

The purported leak may contain:

• follower counts
  
• likes
  
• profile information
  
• limited payment-related data

The story spread quickly across social media and tech outlets, largely because for people involved in online adult work and content production, anonymity and data protection are critical concerns.

OnlyFans says there was no breach

OnlyFans has officially denied the claims. In a response to Cybernews, the platform said there had been no hack or security incident.

Security researchers have also raised doubts about the authenticity of the supposed “mega-leak”. Analysts at Hackread reviewed a portion of the dataset being advertised and concluded it may be far smaller than the hacker asserts.

Their review indicates it likely consists mainly of basic information, such as:

To date, investigators have found no proof that sensitive card or full payment data was exposed.

Findings so far suggest there was no direct compromise of OnlyFans itself; the alleged dataset appears to be pieced together from multiple older breaches.

The hacker later acknowledged they did not directly infiltrate the OnlyFans platform. Instead, they may have merged records from earlier data thefts with publicly visible OnlyFans profiles.

Reports indicate that past breaches involving platforms like X, Instagram and Spotify may have contributed to building this database.

That said, the situation still carries potential risks. For models and creators in the adult industry, exposure of profile details, email addresses or social connections can already cause serious harm if misused.
